Alun's FTP server doesn't support the PASSW format for anonymous logins.
WinQVT/NET's FTP server does, but it crashes after a failed login...
If you find a better FTP daemon, please post.

Subject: SMTP mail client help
I have to send and receive mail by SMTP, because my internet host
doesn't provide POP for slip accounts.
I tried to install wsmtpd16 and ws_gmail both mail server programms,
but Istill have problems reading my mail.
These programms put the incoming e-mails in 1 file on my harddisk,
and Idon't know how to open this file.
Is there apossibility to open such a file with a pop mail reader
like eudora?
Or does a real SMTP client programm exist?
I can read your replies to this e-mail adress bfelix@knoware.nl
thanks in advance
Bruno Felix

While UDP may be unreliable on noisy lines, this does not mean that
FSP is unreliable. In practice, errors seldom, if ever happen
(at least on the lines I have been using) and are taken care of by
the upper layers. UDP may be 'bad' from a computer scientist's point
of view in that it doesn't check for errors, but has no disadvantages
when used in the form of FSP in actual practice. Would you care if
your car had 2 seat belts per seat or one? That's the type of
tradeoff that we are talking about.

Yeah, get version 1.0B...it just has an extract button--highlight the ones you
want, CTRL-E, and Voila! It will even run your viewing program if you've set
it up in File Manager...
